About Weinberg & Garber

Over their combined 38 years of litigation and trial experience, attorneys Weinberg and Garber have developed professional specialties:

Plaintiff Representation in Complex Litigation

During his years at Robinson Donovan, Paul Weinberg consistently delivered substantial recoveries for plaintiff clients.

In the form of jury verdicts or settlements, as lead or co-counsel, Paul's representation yielded results totaling over $19.5 million in six cases alone. In more than ten other cases, mostly suits for medical malpractice, client recovery was made between $500,000 and $1,000,000 each.

John Garber joined Paul in focusing on plaintiff representation, while at Robinson Donovan and now at W&G. On behalf of plaintiff clients, W&G currently prosecutes plaintiffs' cases, with an emphasis on wrongful death claims, in state and federal courts, in Massachusetts and around the country.

Buz Eisenberg is also with the firm on an "Of Counsel" basis. As a litigator with the Greenfield firm Esser, Singer, Eisenberg & Wainstein over the course of 20 years, Buz handled a variety of types of civil matters including cases yielding six and seven figure recoveries.

Commercial Litigation

Business disputes range over many fields and topics: insurance, indemnity, partnership, corporate governance, intellectual propery, anti-trust, and unfair trade practices. Paul and John have wide experience representing different kinds of businesses in all manner of disputes. Weinberg & Garber maintains an ongoing local presence in commercial litigation, providing first-rate representation to businesses.

Appellate Practice

John has always maintained a focus on appellate work, beginning as an associate in Chicago, where he researched and wrote several briefs for cases before the Illinois appellate courts and the federal Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. More recently, he authored and supervised over 20 appeals during his tenure at Robinson Donovan, to the appellate courts of Massachusetts and the federal First Circuit Court of Appeals. Appeal topics have included commercial disputes, landlord/tenant, evidence, insurance, probate, tax abatement, and many others.
